González was crowned Nuestra Belleza Aguascalientes the night of July 7, 2011, and subsequently represented her state in the national competition. She was crowned Nuestra Belleza México 2011 at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco on the night of August 20, 2011. González is 20 years old and stands 1.76 m. She will represent Mexico in Miss Universe 2012. She studies architecture at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes located in her hometown Aguascalientes.
